On Saturday, June 20, Stacey Calle staged Thin Skin at The Art Parade in Los Angeles — a sculptural performance about replication, street performers, and the layered simulacra of a city where every corner already looks like a set.
This piece is a two-voice reflection: an interview with Calle on the making of the work, plus a companion note from her collaborator Vita Kari on what it felt like to be inside it.
