Out of Place: The Windgate Arts Residency Program in Wood 2026

Out of Place brings together the work of six international artists who participated in the 2026 Windgate Arts Residency Program (WARP) in Wood. Working across sculpture, installation, jewelry, furniture, photography, and other material-led practices, these artists explore both the social and material dimensions of being out of place. Addressing themes of home, displacement, identity, and the body, the exhibition resists fixed categories, inviting viewers to question assumptions about belonging and to consider how context shapes what-and who- we understand to be out of place.
