CINDY LOZITO: Where Sky and Water Meet

Philadelphia artist Cindy Lozito is a visual storyteller who views every project as an opportunity to create a bridge between artist and audience. Her work is rooted in drawing and painting, and ranges in scale from small comics to building-sized murals. Recurring themes in her work include how our identities are formed, processing familial loss through story preservation, and the power of imagination and play from childhood into adulthood. For her exhibition at Philadelphia International Airport, she recalls memories from her youth, inspired by her dad's fish collection and the mesmerizing aquariums of her childhood.
